Know thyself, from your own record.

The large companies hold years of your photos, mail, orders and messages. You have the right to a copy. Eumneme helps you ask for it, keep it private and train a model that is yours.

Memory comes before making.

Know thyself, gnothi seauton, was inscribed at the temple of Apollo at Delphi. A person cannot know much about themselves without something honest to read.

In Hesiod's Theogony, Mnemosyne, the Titaness of memory, is the mother of the Muses. The Greeks put memory first and the arts second. A model of you starts the same way: with your record.

We hold the appearance of memory.

In Plato's Phaedrus (274c to 275b), King Thamus warns the god Theuth that writing will give people the appearance of wisdom without the substance. It is a remedy for reminding, he says, not for remembering.

Today the large companies hold our written memory. We scroll a feed and open a photo grid, and we have the appearance of a past. They hold the record.

Paraphrase of Phaedrus 274c to 275b. Read the passage in full at Perseus.

Habit makes the person, and the river moves.

In the Nicomachean Ethics (II.1), Aristotle argues that the virtues come from habit, hexis. We become just by doing just things. Your habits are written in your history.

The line "We are what we repeatedly do" is not Aristotle's. It is Will Durant's paraphrase, from The Story of Philosophy (1926).

Heraclitus, as Plato reports in the Cratylus (402a), said you cannot step twice into the same river. You change, so a model of you has to keep learning from new records.

The copy already exists. The reader does not.

The law gives you the right to a copy. Articles 15 and 20 of the EU's GDPR cover access and portability. California's CCPA and CPRA give residents a right to know what a business holds about them.

The missing piece is something that reads the copy for you. That is a private model, trained on your own files, on your own machine. Eumneme shows you how to build one and keep it yours.

This page is not legal advice. Your rights depend on where you live.

The method, in five steps

Nothing here needs you to upload your history to a cloud model. Steps 2 to 5 run on hardware you control.

  1. Request your exports

Every large company has an export page. The export guide lists each official page and how long it takes.

  2. Store them privately

Put the files on an encrypted drive you own. Keep a second copy. Your history stays where only you can read it.

  3. Index them

Unpack the archives, catalog the files and make them searchable on your own machine: photos, mail, messages, orders and playlists in one place.

  4. Train your own model

Train on your own GPU or on a private rented one, using only your own files. The model is yours and the weights stay with you.

  5. Let it coach you

Ask it about your habits, patterns and promises. It answers from your record, and it keeps learning as new exports arrive.

Where to ask for your data

Each company's official export page is linked below. Every link goes to that company's own site. Sign in there. Eumneme never sees your password. We checked these links on 2026-10-29. Companies move these pages, so search their help center for "download your data" if a link has moved. Rows marked "Unverified" could not be checked.

Save each export the day it arrives. Most links expire. Store the ZIP files on a drive you own.
