The short version

Scope

This policy covers Omarchy Deck, the iPhone and iPad app and its Apple Watch app, made by The Fire Dev LLC, which does business as MeshVault. The app is a client for an Omarchy Deck server that you or someone else runs. MeshVault does not host that server, and the app does not include one.

What we collect

We do not collect personal information through the app. You do not make an account with us. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Its privacy manifest declares no tracking, no tracking domains and no collected data types. Nothing you do in the app is sent to MeshVault.

What stays on your device

  • Server addresses. The address of each saved server, and the name of its web storage, are saved in the app's preferences on your device.
  • Access tokens. The app does not keep your token in its saved settings. It uses the token once to sign in to your server.
  • Sign-in sessions. When you sign in, your server sets a session cookie. The cookie is kept in that server's own WebKit storage on your device, apart from every other saved server. Cookies come from your server, not from us.

Removing a saved server deletes that server's stored web data. Signing out clears the selected server only. Deleting the app removes its saved settings.

What goes to your server

The app loads the dashboard your server provides and sends requests to that address. It sends your access token the first time you sign in, and the session cookie after that. It loads content only from the server you chose. Resources from other sites are blocked, and a link that leads elsewhere opens in Safari, which is separate from the app.

When your phone cannot reach the server, the app can check whether the server is back. That check goes only to your saved server, sends only that server's session cookie, and reads the response headers without downloading the dashboard.

Your server's operator decides what it records, what it shows and who can see it. That may be you or someone else. If someone else runs your server, ask them about their privacy practices. They are not ours.

The demo

Try the demo opens a sample deck made of invented content built into the app. It does not load a web address or send input anywhere. It does not add a saved server or use purchases. Demo state stays in memory.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch app shows Play / Pause, Toggle Mute and Lock Screen for the selected server. It asks you to confirm each action, then sends it to your iPhone. Your iPhone sends the request to your server. The watch receives action names only. It does not hold your server address, token or cookie, and it does not run actions on its own.

Pro purchase

Omarchy Deck is free and includes one saved server. Omarchy Deck Pro is an optional one-time purchase through the App Store that adds multiple saved servers and switching. There is no subscription.

Apple processes the payment and any refund request under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. MeshVault does not receive your payment details. The app only asks Apple, through StoreKit, whether your Apple Account owns Pro.

Permissions

  • Local network. iOS asks for this so the app can reach a server on your home or private network. The prompt reads: "Omarchy Deck connects to the self-hosted deck server you choose."

The app asks for no other permission.

Children

The app is for people who run, or have been given access to, a Deck server. It is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
